Ross Welch, born in LA and raised in Nashville, is a licensed Realtor® with Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty. Whatever the deal may be, you can always count on Ross to give his absolute best. He is fond of saying, “No matter what others do, I’ll do what’s right.” His spirit of excellence is embraced by his diverse clientele who often note just how “refreshing” it is to work with someone like him.
Ross entered real estate through the commercial sector. He worked in multifamily real estate through acquisition and management of short-term rentals. Networking and negotiating corporate leases led him to a large family-owned residential property management group in Washington DC. But soon he was ready to combine his real-world experience with his connections in a city primed for a boom. Now, Ross is the backbone of our commercial sector and evaluates all of our deals for our clientele. Nobody can run the numbers quite like Ross.
Growing up, Ross was exposed to a variety of cultures, including the entertainment industry, artist communities, and the sports industry. Ross graduated from Birmingham Southern College, where he was captain of the basketball team. Upon graduation, Ross considered becoming a sports agent, but soon became interested in income-producing real estate. He realized sports contracts were temporary, whereas investing in real estate can last for generations. When he’s not running spreadsheets or sourcing investment deals, you can find Ross coaching high school basketball at Goodpasture Christian School. He truly enjoys showing young men how the lessons of basketball can be used for future success.
Ross is our multifamily and commercial expert and our “Numbers Guy.” If something can generate cash flow, Ross can show you how. His strong background in corporate finance and multifamily syndicate work is invaluable to his clients. And he is proud to uphold Sotheby’s reputation for exemplary customer service.
